  21. No its not.  On both real word applications and benchmarks, the 060/50
  22. tends to do anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 of a Pentium 100's performance.
  23. (Check the Lightwave texture example times).

  25. You may be able to find some isolated instruction mix where a 060/50
  26. performances as well as a Pentium/100, but in general this is not true.

  28. I'm about to order an 060 myself, but I'm not fooling myself into
  29. thinking it is as fast a Pentium 100.  It is, however, quite a bit
  30. faster than an 040/25, which is what I have now.
